"Around the world in 80 days" is a commission by The Norwegian Opera & Ballet for the opening of the new operahouse in Oslo. It was scheduled to open April 26. 2008, but due to delays in the technical installations of the main stage, the premiere is scheduled for the season 2009/2010.
